We are excited to announce a new enhancement to your GLF. Connect system specifically impacting your student database.
GLF. Connect and the Invited Membership Database system are now integrated meaning that your membership database within your GLF. Connect system is being updated daily. This is significant step forward in that it will benefit you, your coaching team and membership in the following ways:
- New Members will be updated daily into your GLF. Connect system
- Membership information including email address and contact details will be refreshed daily
- Member category and status will updated daily and display on the Customer Care List
- Resigned members will automatically have their member status removed and therefore will be unable to access member specific pricing
Through this integration, it is important to note that all membership database information will be driven through this integration. Therefore, this means there are some changes in your GLF. Connect system. These changes are detailed below:
Creating Members
You are now unable to create a member account in GLF however, you are still able to continue to create non member accounts. You will notice that the feature to assign a club member at various points in the system such as via the All Students screen on the web based system or during the booking process has been removed. An example of the change is provided below:
Editing Membership Numbers
You are now unable to edit the membership numbers of students that are already assigned as a member. On the All Students screen the option to ‘Update Player Membership’ in the action menu is no longer visible and the ability to edit the membership field is restricted at various points in the system:
Editing Profile Information
You are unable to edit certain profile information for students that are assigned as member. This information is now being updated via the integration and therefore certain fields such as Name, Email Address and Phone Numbers are locked across various points in the system. An example of how this will display is shown below:
With this change you will continue to be able to update the profile information of non member accounts and also create accounts on behalf of these students.
