Merge Account Feature Added to the Mobile Apps

We are continually making improvements to help avoid the creation of duplicate accounts and to help you identify and reduce duplicate accounts when they are created.


To assist with this, users with the appropriate rights can now access the merge account feature on the Mobile Apps. Merging accounts together ensures that any activity associated with an account isn't lost, and the following activities are transferred:

  • Used and Unused Packages and their transactions
  • Used/Unused Gift Cards
  • Booked Lessons and Classes and their associated media
  • Booked Class and Lesson Internal Session Notes
  • Student Media
  • Email History
  • Customer Care Notes
  • Recommended Media on the App
  • Message Groups and One-to-One Messages on the App
  • MyGame+ activity


How to Merge Accounts on Mobile Apps:

  • Once you have identified a duplicate account, navigate to Student Connect screen from the Manager User Role and select the Merge Accounts Icon:


  • After selecting this option, you will then see an option to select the 'Merge from Account'. The Merge from Account is the account where data will be transferred from and in the drop-down list, you will see the student name, username, membership ID, and if the account is currently assigned to a Care Group with the Customer Care List. Select the student you require. 
  • Next, select the ‘Merge to Account’ which is the account where data will be transferred and will remain active in the system:

  • After clicking the Merge Students button and confirming, the accounts will be merged together, and a success message will appear. You will then have the option to send the student their username and temporary password:

If you do not currently have access to the Merge Feature within your GLF. Connect account, please contact your Academy Manager or the Support Team.
