We’re excited to introduce new enhancements to the mobile app’s media functionality. We understand that the ability to record, analyze, and share coaching media with students is a vital part of the coaching process. That’s why the media feature within the GLF.Connect system continues to be a priority for us, as we strive to improve it based on user feedback and advancements in coaching technology.
In our latest app release, we’ve added three key enhancements for iOS users (version 4.13.00) on the App Store and Android users (version 4.18.0) on the Google Play Store:
Guide Added to the Record a Video Screen
Within the mobile app, you can now record a video of your students using the “Record a Video” feature. To help ensure consistent video quality and optimize recordings for later analysis or sharing, we’ve added a silhouette guide option.
In the bottom left corner of the screen, you can select an icon to record without a guide, display a guide in a face-on position, or align it to the golfer swing orientation. You can resize and reposition this guide as needed. Additionally, the flip tool lets you switch between a right-handed or left-handed golfer silhouette.
Frame-by-Frame Scrolling Tool Added
Previously, after selecting a video for analysis, users could only play the video or use a scroller to jump to a specific point in the video. To enhance the analysis experience, we’ve added a frame-by-frame tool. This feature allows users to move forward or backward frame by frame, making it easier to analyze high-frame-rate videos:
Flip Tool Added to the Analysis Screen
We’ve added a flip tool to the analysis feature, enabling users to flip recorded or uploaded videos when viewing them individually or in comparison with other videos. This is especially useful for users who have stored videos for reference or comparison with students and need to flip them to the correct orientation for clearer communication:
