Update the Pay At Academy Sub-Payment type at Checkout

Within the Manager, Coach and Pro Shop user roles, you can select the Pay At Academy option at the Checkout stage for Private Lessons and Class Bookings. Previously, when this option was select, the lesson was added to the Schedule or Class and it appeared as unpaid. The user was then required to update the booking payment status when it was paid by the student. 


This process is required when the booking is processed on behalf of the student, but payment has not been received. However, there may be instances where the customers pays at the time of booking via one of your external payment options, which could include: 

  • Pay via cash through a Golf Shop or Reception Area
  • Pay via Credit/Debit Card through a Golf Shop or Reception Area
  • Bank Transfer
  • Charge to a Member Card
  • Cash directly to a Coach

To improve the speed of reconciling the payment status of these bookings within your GLF.Locker system, when you select the Pay at Academy option at checkout you will now have the option to update it to 'Paid' there and then. On selecting this option, the following alert will appear giving you two options:

  1. Customer has not yet paid for this booking - By selecting this option, the booking can be processed and added to the schedule or class as un-paid.
  2. Select Payment Type - By selecting this option, you can select from one of the sub payment types added within your Academy Settings which will be specific to your business:

After selecting one of these options, the booking will be processed but appear as paid within the schedule, therefore meaning you do not have to update the status after the booking has been processed as you would have done previously.
