Based on feedback from clubs currently using the GLF to Micros integration, we’ve updated how checks are sent to the Micros point of sale (POS) system for class sessions involving multiple departments.
Previous Behavior:
Previously, when sending the class session delivered amount a single check would be sent for each student for the golf programming portion with the amount tied to the instructors displayed based on the percentage split in the class setup. However, an additional check would then be sent for each student for any additional departments activated to the class.
Clubs reported that for large programs, this resulted in a high volume of checks that had to be manually closed out by POS users. We can see in the example below for a single student, a check displays for the golf programming portion, with two further checks for the Tennis department and F & B:
What’s New:
We have now streamlined this process so that when the class session delivered amount is pushed from GLF, a single check will be sent for each student, with the total assigned to each instructor and departments detailed within this single check. We can see in the example below, with an identical class setup as the previous image a single check now contains each departments split:
The Micros Transaction screen has been updated to reflect this change. You can now view how the total is allocated to each instructor and department within the check. This information is accessible by clicking the action menu icon and selecting 'View Details':
