Waiting List Functionality for Classes

When your classes reach the capacity limit defined in step 5 of the class setup screen, students can be added to a waiting list. This is useful functionality to capture interest in your classes and automate the process when a place becomes available on your class.


The functionality to add students to the Waiting List is available to Students and Pro Shop and Coach user roles. The ability to view and manage students that are added to the waiting list is available to all user roles via the schedule view. 


A student can be added to the waiting list, payment method can be defined and the student can be moved into a priority queue. When a student is removed from a class, the students in the waiting list will automatically be moved into the class based on their place in the queue. 


You can manage the priority of students from within the schedule view. 


Booking a Student onto the Class Waiting List 


The Waiting List option will only be available on classes where the number of attendees added to the class have reached the class capacity. To add a student to the waiting list:


  • Navigate to the Book Online menu navigation from the Coach or Pro Shop user role:

  • Find the class by navigating through the primary and secondary filter options. The 'Add to Waiting List' button will be appear:

After selecting the Add to Waiting List option, a new student can be created or selected from the current database. Single or multiple students can be selected at this step:

After selecting the student/s, the payment type can then be selected and the student's priority in the queue can be set by using the move icon on the left hand side. Once complete, select the 'Confirm' button and the student/s will be added to the waiting list:


Managing Students on the Class Waiting List


From any user role, you can view and manage students added to the waiting list from the schedule view. 


  • Find any of the class sessions from the Schedule and click on the session to reveal the class detail pop up. On this pop up, select the Waiting List button:


This will show you a list view of students that have been added to the waiting list and their priority status. You can move the student's priority by using the move icon on the left hand side. Click update priority to save the changes:


When a student who is listed in the attendees list is removed from the class, the student first in the priority list will automatically be moved into the class Attendees list.
