Improvements to New Class Management Feature

In light of feedback from users, we have now made a number of improvements to the new class management feature. This includes:

  • Additional Information Icons - We have now added additional information icons to the various areas when creating, editing and viewing classes. This will help users to understand how a feature will impact the class within the system:

  • Updated text for Class Type 3 at step 3 - We have updated the text when creating Class Type 3 classes to make it clear to the user that they need to define the number of single sessions classes they would like to build:

  • Tabs and steps clickable when building and editing a class - When building or editing a class, the steps at the top of the screen and the tabs when building a session at step 3 will be clickable. This will allow users to move to a step more easily:

  • All booking filters and sub filters visible at step 2 - When building or editing a class the user will be able to select from all booking filters at step 2 regardless of whether they are active or not. However in order for class to be visible on the booking system the filter needs to be activated.

  • User taken to Step 3 when editing - When a user attempts to edit a class they will automatically be redirected to Step 3 of the class builder. Feedback from users indicated that editing class sessions was the most common reason for editing classes.

  • When saving and exiting, user will be returned to the same screen - When editing a class and then exiting the class builder the user will be redirected to the previous screen they were on, for example the schedule.

  • Classes in the past will show clearly on the booking system for pro-rota classes - When pro rota has been enabled on a class with multiple sessions at step 4, those sessions which have passed and are therefore not charged to the customer will be clearly identified on the web/ mobile web based booking system:
