Within the GLF. Connect class management feature, their is an option to enable a waiting list. The waiting list becomes available when the class reaches its maximum capacity.
Within this feature, students and coaches can be added to the waiting list. They receive a confirmation email of their place, and when a space becomes available in a class, the GLF system automatically adds the students based on their priority status.
Previously, however, this functionality was limited to the web/mobile web-based system.
We have now added the ability for coaches and students to book onto a waiting list through the mobile apps.
Booking by Coaches
Coaches can add students to a waiting list via the Schedule view and the Booking System. By selecting the class, the "Add Students to Waiting List" button will become available:
Once the students have been selected, navigating to the next screen will allow the user to remove any students, change the priority order, and define the payment preference of the students if a class place becomes available:
Clicking Confirm will then add the students to the waiting list and confirmation pop up will appear. At this point a confirmation email will be triggered and sent to each student:
Booking is also available via the schedule view. Selecting the class and navigating to the 'Class appointment screen, the user can then select the new 'Waiting List' tab. At the bottom of this screen, there is then a quick link to 'Add Students to the Waiting List:
Booking by Students
Students can now also reserve a spot on a waiting list using the booking system. After selecting the booking system via 'Book Online' and choosing the appropriate group filter and sub-filter where the class is scheduled, users will see text indicating that the class is full. By selecting the class, the 'Add to Waiting List' button will become available:
Choosing this button will then prompt a confirmation pop-up indicating that the student's place on the waiting list has been secured. At this point, a confirmation email will be triggered and sent to each student:
