Within the Class Management module on GLF Connect, you can access a waiting list setting that allows users to book onto a waiting list when a class reaches its maximum capacity. To enhance the user experience when using this feature, we have made some updates to it.
Firstly, on the web-based system, after clicking the 'Waiting List' button, students will be asked to log in to an existing account or create a new account.
Immediately after signing in, the user will then see a pop-up asking them to confirm their place on the Waiting List. The only payment type that will be available is the customized option to 'Pay at the Academy.' In the example image below, it says 'Pay in the Golf Shop':
The text within the pop-up advises the user that at this point, they are securing a place on the waiting list. If a place becomes available, their instructor will contact them to arrange payment for the class place. No payment is taken at this point.
At some venues, the 'Pay at the Academy' option is not enabled for students. In this instance, users will only be able to join the waiting list by contacting their instructor. A new 'Contact Us' button has been added to the booking system in this scenario:
